Proteins are a macronutrient like carbohydrates and fats.

Many people aren't aware of daily protein intake goals or how close or far they are from achieving them. Some people require tremendous amounts, depending on activity level.

When searching for a proper protein supplement, be on the lookout for adulterated and contaminated raw materials- common in many mass market protein powders. Minimally processed, great tasting, pure protein from clean sources is achievable and doesn't have to be expensive.
