Caring For Your Pets Holistically
In This Episode
One of the achievements of our modern society is a higher quality of life for our beloved pets, so today Neal is joined by holistic veterinarian, Dr. Rob Silver to talk about pet care and nutrition.
Rob’s mission for our animal friends is the same as Neal’s mission for humans- to adopt better nutrition and care habits while walking a middle path between natural products and traditional medicine.
To that end, Rob and Neal discuss the details of mass-market pet food processing and additives that many might find surprising.
They explore the immediate impact poorly made food has on our pets, and what a high carb diet can to them.
Rob discusses how he takes care of his own animals, and then the doctors talk about Rob’s supplement line, which includes mushrooms from a previous guest on the show.
